Action for Children

Maryhill Housing currently works in partnership with Action for Children to deliver work experience projects in our local communities. The programme provides an opportunity for young unemployed people to learn new employability skills and gain new experiences. This, in turn, helps them secure further employment, training and education opportunities. The programme normally lasts 6 weeks and those taking part undertake a range of work from painting to environmental improvements.

Examples of past projects include the Lochburn and Eastpark areas.
