Applications for our Summer 2025 Customer Kitty are now open!
The Customer Kitty was set up to help Maryhill Housing tenants and factored owners. Non-repayable grants of up to £250 are available for various purposes. It's the only kitty you can take out of but don't need to put anything into.
From today, we are accepting applications for two separate streams.
Stream one is for families in financial hardship and is either for clothing or a split award for clothing and trips. Those who apply and are not successful will be kept on file, and if more funds become available, will be contacted and awarded at that point.
The maximum award for this stream is £100 per family.

Stream two is for all residents looking for some form of educational support or learning. For example, this may be for a Chromebook/tablets for studies, books, equipment or materials required for courses, uniforms for courses, clothing for an interview or a contribution towards a course. We have £2500 available in total for this stream, so this will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to those who can demonstrate that they are in low-income households and how the item will benefit their situation in the longer term.
The maximum award for this stream is £250 per applicant.
