At Maryhill Housing we want to know your views on the level of our annual rent increase from April 2021. Please take the time to respond and be in with a chance of winning one of two £50 shopping vouchers.
We want to ensure that our rents remain affordable to those in housing need, are comparable with other Housing Associations and cover our running costs and future provision for major repairs and improvements.
The priorities for the Association over the next few years (such as replacing old electric storage heaters, carrying out a range of estate improvements and a programme of improvements in relation to fire safety) are so essential that our Board did not consider it appropriate to offer these as options to reduce the rent increase for customers. We are therefore simply proposing to apply an increase of 1.2% from 1st April 2021.

There are a numberr of ways you can give us your feedback on the proposed rent increase. You can:-
- Complete our online survey;
- Visit the Customer Consultation section of our website and select Rent Consultation 2021/22;
- Write to us at 'Rent Consultation', Maryhill Housing, 45 Garrioch Road, Glasgow, G20 8RG;
- Call us on 0141 946 2466.
All responses will be considered by the Maryhill Housing Board who will make a decision in January 2021 on the level of rent increase that will apply to all customers. You will be notified of your new rent in February 2021.
