We are excited to be the first housing association in Scotland to invite the Housing Diversity Network and RSM to review our approach to equality and diversity.

At Maryhill Housing, one of our core values is to embrace people’s differences. We have decided to commission the Housing Diversity Network to review our approach to assess whether we are living this value in everything we do — from how our Board leads the organisation to how we adapt our services for our diverse range of customers.

There are many different elements to this review, which will be carried out in summer 2024. One key part of the process will be to find out what our customers think.

We are inviting customers to attend a workshop with Housing Diversity Network on Thursday, 30th May, at 2pm in our offices at 45 Garrioch Road to discuss the Association’s services and how well we communicate with and support our diverse communities. We would welcome any tenants to attend; you don’t have to be from a minority group, and you don’t need to have any particular knowledge about our services.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided, and all attendees at the meeting will receive a £10 Tesco voucher on the day. If you would like to attend, please contact corporatesupport@maryhill.org.uk

If you require any assistance to attend the workshop, such as accessible transport, childcare, or translation services, we would be happy to provide this. You can also participate in the workshop virtually if that suits you better. Just let us know what you require when you contact us to book in.

We hope to see you then.
