On Thursday 14th April, our contractors will be carrying out essential repair works to a mains water pipe in Cumlodden Drive.  As a result of this necessary work, the water supply to all properties at 276 Cumlodden Drive will be turned off at 8.00am and will remain off until approximately 4.00pm.
Customers will not be able to flush toilets normally when the water is turned off.  We therefore recommend that you fill a bucket with water which you can use to flush your toilet until the water supply is back on.
We also recommend that customers fill some pots and pans with water so that you can refill your kettles from these.  During the period of disruption, please keep all taps turned off and do not use any appliances within your home which require a water supply.
We will have a limited supply of 1.5L bottles of water available for collection from our Neighbourhood Team Station which is located at the base of 29 Glenavon Road.
Customers may notice that the water initially appears brown-coloured when it comes back on.  If this happens, leave the taps on for a short time until the water clears.  Do not leave running taps unattended.
If your water supply has not been restored by 4.00pm on Thursday 14th April, please contact our Neighbourhood Team directly by calling 0141 948 1124 or visit the Neighbourhood Team station at 29 Glenavon Road.  We apologise for the inconvenience this essential work will cause and thank customers in advance for your understanding and co-operation.
