Customer Kitty Summer 2022 will be opening on Monday 4th July!

Tenants of Maryhill Housing are able to apply for small grants of up to £250 for clothing for their children, books, materials for further education courses, training and family trips.  Applications will close on 15th July.

Supporting our young people to realise their potential is another way to challenge poverty. This year we re-launched our bursary scheme (the Customer Kitty) and provided financial support to a number of younger customers in further education to help contribute towards their course fees and pay for course equipment.

The Customer Kitty has been set up to help Maryhill Housing tenants and factored owners. Non-repayable grants of up to £250 are available for a variety of things including activities, clothing, a contribution towards education costs, equipment, books and laptops that might not otherwise be affordable. This is the only kitty you can take out of but don’t need to put anything into.

Applicants must be aged 16+.

Maximum of 2 applications per eligible household per year.

Maximum of 1 application per person per year.

Successful applicants will not receive any money directly, vouchers will be provided or bookings for outings ect will be made by Maryhill Housing.

Applications for under 16’s must be made by an adult such as a family member, carer, teacher, etc.

You will be asked to provide us with receipts for all of your purchases.
