Our staff are reporting an increase in the number of calls and complaints about the Glasgow City Council bins. As much as we would like to help, these bins belong to the Council and it is their responsibility to deal with them.
- To report damaged or overflowing bins – click here or use the MyGlasgow app.
- To report litter in a public place - click here, use the MyGlasgow app or call 0141 287 1058.
- To report faults on public roads and footways – click here, use the MyGlasgow app or call 0800 373 635.
- To report a pest control problem, i.e. rats, click here, use the MyGlasgow app or call 0141 287 1059.
Please note that our in-house Estate Caretaking Team are currently running a fortnightly bulk uplift collection service in certain areas – if this applies to your area you will have received letters from us about this previously. If you have items of bulk waste and cannot dispose of these yourself, please leave them in the bin areas and our team will collect them from there every two weeks. If you have items of bulk waste that you are able to dispose of yourself (e.g. if you have your own transport and are able to take items to a local recycling centre) please continue to do so.
