Job Purpose
We're looking for a temporary Retirement Housing Officer (3 month FTC) who will provide a service to tenants living in Maryhill Housing’s retirement housing and contribute to the general housing management service to those in the complex. You'll establish friendly relations with all tenants and encourage independence; signposting to other agencies where required. You'll encourage tenants to participate in decisions which affect them and advocate and actively promote choice for tenants in their daily living.

To be successful in the Retirement Housing Officer role, you'll have experience working in a customer-focused environment and supporting vulnerable customers.  You'll require excellent communication skills and have the ability to respond positively and flexibly to change.  You'll strive to continuously improve our services; therefore you require experience of liaising and negotiating with other agencies to access services or resources for our customers.  You'll also have an awareness of relevant housing legislation, as well as excellent IT skills for use on Microsoft Office packages and in-house systems.
 
We're also looking for various sessional staff to provide support to the retirement housing complexes.  These positions will require flexibility to provide cover as required which may include full days, half days and weekends.
 
On Offer
One temporary full-time role for 35 hours a week.  This will be worked between Monday – Friday with flexibility around hours.  Please be advised there may be a requirement for some occasional evening working.  This role comes with a salary banding of EVH Grade TAS 4: £24,112 - £25,044 (pro rata).
