We are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join us at an exciting time for the organisation. 

The role will require you to manage a patch of properties in the Maryhill area, covering all aspects of housing management, including allocation of houses, effective estate management and recovery of rent arrears.

To be successful in the Housing Officer role, you need to be truly customer focused, able to solve problems, and have the ability to work well under pressure.  Team work and the ability to plan effectively to meet targets and departmental objectives are crucial in this role.

This is a permanent role, with a salary banding of £32,111 - £35,260 (EVH grade 7). In addition, you will receive an excellent benefits package, which includes 25 days annual leave, 15 days public holiday and access to a contributory pension scheme.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:

  • Knowledge of up to date housing legislation and best practice

  • Experience of managing rent arrears

  • Experience of supporting tenancy sustainment including management of anti-social behaviour
