We currently have an opportunity for an additional Housing Officer to join us for a period of about 18 months to support our Housing Management teams.

The role will cover all aspects of housing management, including allocation of houses, effective estate management and recovery of rent arrears within the local Maryhill area.

To be successful in the Housing Officer role, you need to be truly customer focused, able to solve problems, and have the ability to work well under pressure.  Team work and the ability to plan effectively to meet targets and departmental objectives are crucial in this role.

Communication skills are key to the role, and we would expect you to have excellent IT skills too.  Knowledge and experience of using housing management software would be advantageous, especially if you have used SDM previously.  We are happy to offer this role as a secondment opportunity.
