We are looking for an experienced Community Regeneration practitioner to join us at an exciting time for the organisation. The role will require you to work with the Community Regeneration team to develop and deliver all aspects of Community Regeneration in the Maryhill and Ruchill areas, including: developing and delivering local community initiatives, securing external funding as well as working with a range of partners to develop innovative projects. Our aim is to invest in our communities and people by providing a wide range of opportunities for our residents whilst proactively addressing poverty. To be successful in this role, you need to be customer and community focused, able to solve problems, and have the ability to work well under pressure. You also need to be self-motivated and creative in your approach to deliver the best results for our communities. Team work and the ability to plan effectively to meet targets and departmental objectives are crucial in this role. Top class communication skills are essential to the role, and we would expect you to have excellent IT skills too. Knowledge and experience of developing innovative solutions to address community issues as well as knowledge of developing monitoring and evaluation techniques to help measure the impact of our community initiatives.
