Tenants Insurance 

As the owner of the house in which you live, Maryhill Housing Association provides property insurance for your house or flat.  However, it is the responsibility of each tenant to provide for their own home contents insurance.

The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) can provide home contents insurance cover through the Diamond Insurance Scheme, which it has negotiated with a leading insurer to provide low cost effective insurance which can be paid for on a monthly or annual basis. 

This can be paid by Direct Debit or by use of a swipe card which allows you to pay at the Post Office.

Maryhill Housing Association is not a party in the insurance policy you have through the Diamond Scheme and would not be involved in any disagreements or disputes which may occur between the tenant and the insurance company.
