We are progressing well with the improvement works at 29, 71 and 115 Glenavon Road.  The external appearance of the building has improved significantly, we hope you like the colour, chosen as the most popular by residents.  The internal upgrading works are ongoing to improve lighting in the stairwell and improve the appearance of the drying areas.  We appreciate that you have been unable to use your drying area and thank you for your patience. 

To assess the thermal improvements of the over-cladding, we are looking for some residents who can provide us with an annual electrical costs pre and post works.  If you have on-line billing we would like to hear from you.  Please contact Phyllis Stewart at Maryhill Housing Association – telephone 0141 948 1102.  

You will have letters and visits from Thedon, who are upgrading the communal TV system.   The upgrade will provide you with the opportunity to access satellite services such as Sky+, Freesat, Freeview and FM DAB digital radio.  Thedon require access into your home for one hour to connect you to the new system.  It is in your interest to allow access.  To organise access contact Thedon on 0845 519 849 or email sayhello@ts-ltd.co.uk.

We are aiming to complete the over-cladding works, remove the mast climbers and light up the building before the Christmas break.  The internal works will be complete before the end of February 2013.

Other improvements we are looking at are internal paintwork, external lighting, improve entrances and start looking at the external environment.
