Glasgow City council has made it easier for residents to claim Housing/Council tax benefit.

They have introduced an online calculator which allows residents to find out if they qualify for benefit by taking them through a series of questions relevant to their own circumstances.

 
If you qualify you can continue your claim on-line. The claim is then sent electronically to the council Revenue & Benefits team without the need for paper forms to be issued.
